Wedding Reception Terms and Conditions

MENU SELECTION

  • Menu selection from our current menu will take place 14 days prior to the function
  • Meals for Children (aged 5-12), Musicians, DJ, Photographer etc are available at $40.00 each. They will be provided with a three-course meal and soft drinks.
  • Please advise us at least 7 days prior to your function if you require special dietary requirements i.e. Vegetarian, Halal or Kosher; Lactose or Gluten intolerance etc.

GUEST NUMBERS

  • The number of guests will be confirmed 5 days prior to the function
  • There will be no refund if there are fewer guests than those confirmed.
  • Additional guests must be notified and paid for prior to the function
  • If your guest numbers alter substantially we reserve the right to change the function room (to move to a smaller or larger room)
  • We have musicians and magicians available. Your requirements and the costs involved should be discussed at the time of the booking.

RESPONSIBLE SERVICE OF ALCOHOL

  • All aspects of the Licensing Laws must be respected. We will not serve alcohol to persons under the age of 18 years (proof may be required), nor to any guests displaying signs of intoxication.
  • Spirits will be served in single nips and only one drink per person at any one time
  • No alcohol or other beverages are to be taken from the premises.
  • Barnaby's appreciates your assistance and support in encouraging your guests to drink alcohol in moderation.

DEPOSITS AND PAYMENTS

  • A deposit of $20 per person is required at the time of booking your function to secure your chosen date and time.
  • Final payment for the balance of moneys is due for payment 5 days prior to the function.
  • Final payment must be paid by Bank Cheque or Cash. Personal cheques are not accepted for final payment.

CANCELLATION

  • Your deposit, less a $120 cancellation fee, will be refunded on any cancellation prior to 60 days from you function date.
  • Cancellations made between 60 and 21 days prior to your function will incur a cancellation fee equal to your deposit.
  • In the event your function is cancelled with 21 days of the date of your function there will be no refund of any monies paid.

GENERAL

  • Please make sure your guests do not arrive before the correct starting time of your function as refusal of entry may cause embarrassment.
  • Smoking is not permitted within the Restaurants, however an area outside will be set aside for smoking guests
  • The throwing of confetti, rice etc is strictly forbidden and should this occur you could be charged a cleaning cost of $220.
  • There is a Public Holiday surcharge of 10% of the total cost.
  • You shall be held personally responsible for any damages caused by any of your guests to any part of Barnaby's property.
  • We will take necessary care but cannot accept responsibility for loss, damage or breakage of any gifts or possessions of yourself or your guests.
